Last year at our Annual Seminar and Convention I got to teach a class that featured 2 cards and a scrapbook page layout all done VERY simple and all featuring our Angelee Soar With It Collection.  I came across this card the other day and still LOVE it!  This would be such an elegant card for any occasion!  May Day, Mother's Day, Anniversary, Birthday ... you name it!

I started with my standard sizes. 































I got this next piece from the die cut sheet in my Angelee Soar With It Collection.



After trimming it down and dusting it with some ink I attach it to the front of the purple square scallop I punched.



Then open up the card.  We don't want anyone to see the adhesive we used on the purple square scallop so we need to disguise it.





Now this next step is a tip.  I've already attached the ivory square above to the clear acetate.  Now, I want to attach this next ivory square block to the inside of the card.  To align my placement with the scallop I apply adhesive and hold it back to back with the first piece attached.  Then lay the page down and it falls perfectly into place.

REMEMBER:  Make sure your adhesive for this block is sticking to YOU!  And not the ivory block on the acetate!



Isn't that nifty!



How simple was this card!  And SO elegant!
