The Inside Scoop ... Lilly Anna
Friday, May 22, 2009
As I've stated many times one of my favorite things to do at The Angel Company is hang out in our Contest Entry Room. {Okay, I don't really hang out ... I browse}. I LOVE seeing the entries that come in past, present and just arriving.
Entries for current contests are stored in bins labeled with the contest name. After the contest winners are chosen the entries are then filed into bin boxes that are labeled by paper collection and/or color palette.
On this particular day I grabbed a box that was labeled 'Lilly Anna' and here are some of my 'finds' that I'd like to share with you. Now, also know that some of these items were submitted and pulled for catalogue. However, not all of the samples make it into the catalogue because stamp sets are discontinued, palettes change, etc. These samples all end up on display boards and are showcased at Seminar, Leadership and other events The Angel Company may participate in throughout the year.
I hope you enjoy these specTACular creations as much as I have!
This FANTASTIC project was designed by Marcie Nowell for a showcase board. What I particularly appreciate about this card is the gift that comes with it! Do you see the necklace?! Now, I do believe that the washer part of the necklace actually sat within the pink circle on the card. However, do to being adored ... it has slid down some.
This is a peek behind the blue scallop circle. You can see the ribbon 'necklace' layered nicely in this shot.
This is the back of the washer.
To create this project Marcie used:
Swirly Gigs, Deco Designs, Ordinary Greetings, Lilly Anna SWIC, Lilly Anna CS, Lilly Anna Ribbon, White Ultrasmooth CS, Jet Black & Starlight Silver Brilliance Ink, Beaux Arts Blue Palette Ink, Glaze Gelly Pens, Clear Emboss Powder, Crystal Lacquer, Silver Leafing Pen, Scallop Scissors, Mega Scallop Circle Punch, Super Jumbo Circle Punch & Extra Jumbo Circle Punch, Micro Hole Punch, Foam Tape, Large Washer, Small Washer.
Next I found this gorgeous card created by Chris Franco. LOVE it!
I don't have a list of supplies but can tell you the Scor-Pal played a key design roll in this project. Chris also used crystal lacquer on the center of the flower and that adds a 3-D element that is striking.
This next card was designed by Chelsea. And since she didn't write her last name on the card ... I can't share that with you. {sadness}.
This card is FABULOUS because of its simplicity! It is so simple yet has details, such as the ribbons and eyelet, that really give it a smart look. LOVE it!
Okay. This card stole my heart! It's FANTASTICAL and it's designed by Kimberly O'Rosky.
Here are the supplies Kimberly used to create this card:
Welcome Home, Lilly Anna SWIC, Lilly Anna CS, White CS, Noir Black Palette Ink, Lilly Anna Ribbon, Prismacolor Pencils, Odorless Mineral Spirits, Corner Rounder, Nested Circle Coluzzle.
Here is another of my favorites! This is such a HAPPY card and it was designed by Michelle McDaniel.
This card would make me feel blessed if I received it in the mail!
Now moving on ... how PRECIOUS is this! Oh my goodness I LOVE it! Su Klinkner designed an absolutely irresistible baby card right here!
Here are the supplies Su used to create this little touch of Heaven:
Lilly Anna SWIC, Lilly Anna CS, White CS, Hello Baby, Noir Black Palette Ink, Prismacolor Pencils, Tropical Mini Brads, Lt Blue Tombow Marker, 1 1/2" Round Punch, 2" Scallop Punch, Pop Dots.
Next I found this sweet little cupcake and instantly fell in love! Trudy Osborn designed this piece for a showcase board and it is timeless!
You know I'm a detail gal ... so check out these details up close!
Here are the supplies Trudy used to design this adorable page:
My Little Cupcake, Lilly Anna SWIC & CS, Noir Black & Burnt Umber Palette Ink, Watercolor Pencils, Dove Blender, Tropical Mini Brads, Coluzzle Circle, Mega Scallop Circle Punch, Mimi Ribbon, White Cardstock Strips, White Gel Pen.
Isn't this FUN! I have one more Lilly Project to share today!
This project was designed by Laine Kammeraad and it is so exceptional! Check out this fantastic little wall hanging!
I hope you've enjoyed these projects as much as myself and our staff at The Angel Company! I have more from our Lilly bin to share so I'll see you soon.
Happy Paper Crafting!
