A peek inside my sketchbook ...
Monday, August 16, 2010
One of my favorite things to do is to peer into sketchbooks! I don't care whose sketchbooks they are ... I just LOVE IT! Those doodles and drawings that seem to ramble on don't have to mean anything ... I just appreciate the thought that they are.
So today ... I thought I'd bore you with some pieces from my own sketchbook. These are some of my most recent ones ... and ones with images I can share. I've had TONS of fun working on new images, however, they haven't been released yet ... so no peeking! {smiles}
The first two images below are prismacolor pencils with odorless mineral spirits. LOVE coloring with these! (REMEMBER: You can click on any image if you'd like to see it larger in your browser)
The quad below is me playing with my Copics.
And the remaining images are all colored and doodled on with my copics as well.
Hope you enjoyed a change of pace and a peek into my sketchbook!
Happy Paper Crafting!

Those bats are so cute! I've never kept a sketch book but it sounds like a good project to start while I spend hours (and hours) at football practice! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a sketch book too--never done one! Thanks for sharing Mischelle!
ReplyDeleteYour sketchbook is wonderful ... thanks for doing different skin tones and sharing what colors that you used for those ... very helpful!
ReplyDeleteThe bats and Halloween images are terrific ... I played around with those last weekend.
Oh, if only I were even half that talented!
