Guest Designer Maria Van Stratton and Sunflowers

Happy Wednesday! I am so over the top excited to be asked to be a guest designer. It did not take me long to decide which set to use. The set featured today is one of my favorites. I have enjoyed this set and it is well inked. I love images that can be used for multiple holidays and sentiments. This first project is a magnet that I colored the image in with Copic Caboodle set F using YR21, Y23, Y24, E57, G82, G94. Then traced around my picture pebble Item F-915, cutting the image accordingly. Then using Glossy Accents F-610 I adhered the image to the pebble. After letting it dry over night I attached a magnet to the back.
I read a ton and am always in need of a bookmark. So this bookmark is made from the Angelee SWIC. I used the Spring Pansy Versamagic Chalk ink for the sentiment for the Filled with Joy set T3366. Then I stamped, colored and cut out the butterfly. The embelishments are from the Sophia Blossoms and the Lemonade Blossoms, layered with a shimmer brad. This is layered on chipboard cardstock C-625 to make it more durable.
The treat box is made out of bazzill cardstock. Then layered with the Emma SWIC, finished with the Elizabeth blossoms collection and some scrappers floss. The image is stamped on white the layered with black. The lady bug is colored with Copic marker R37.
This card was fun since I got to use a little bling. I love the sparkle of the Gem collection. Here I stamped the focal image and the sentiment together. The sentiment come from the Bug of Fun set T-3241. I have also used the Fancy Curls set T-2804 for the background. Then layered the image on the Maggie Cardstock and SWIC collection. Tied ribbon around it and finished it off by adding a flower from the Gem collection, and Lavendar scrappers floss.
I wanted to use at least one technique on my cards. So here is an the spotlight technique. I layered my image cardstock on Bumblebee Cardstock from the Caboodle set C collection. I masked off the sunflower to give more depth. Then cut my grass out of Grasshopper from the same collection. The colored image has glossy accents to dress it up.
This card is created using the Artesian Pool cardstock paired with the a little Whimsy Wing it collection. I stitched around the image and sentiment for more detail. This image is colored with Prismacolor Water Pencils the blended with a water brush.
Finally, I left my favorite for last. This card is done using the Emma SWIC collection, the Copic Caboodle set F markers, a micro pen, black brads, cloud scissors and the stardust pen. The sentiment is from Filled wth joy.
Thank you for checking out my creations. If you want to see more hop on over to my blog at www.meastamper.blogspot.com . And be sure to stop by tomorrow for Barb Foster's creations using the Sunshine set. I am sure she will amaze you.
