Copic markers on Copic Xpress It Cardstock
These past couple of weeks have REALLY kicked my hinny ... in fact ... I came home from work early Wednesday afternoon and stayed there until this morning.  Crazy right?!  Most of the time I was lethargic and had zero energy ... but there were a couple of times I felt like coloring away.... and yesterday I even made some Pop Up Boxes! One thing about creating from bed ... the mess DOES get put away.  {smiles}  So enough about that ... let's talk about Copic markers and the cardstock you can get at WalMart for less than $5 per ream!

So this is a classic Jeanette Lynton stamp set that my mom purchased and I stamped some of the images off to color when I had time.  This set is called Stitched with Love and I had a ball coloring it!  It definitely reminded me of the 'old' days when so many of the sets available to stampers had images such as these.

I also stamped this set off on some of the white cardstock I picked up at my local WalMart for less than $5 a ream!  It is
Georgia-Pacific Cardstock, 8.5 x 11, 110 lb., 150 Sheets found in the office supply section of the store and I LOVE it!

I thought I had more of these images than I did so that's why I didn't color them the same.  I have to say ... for the price difference in the XPress It and the Georgia Pacific ... I'll go Georgia Pacific all the way!  It may not have blended quite as easily as the Xpress It but the differences are so little I can easily adjust!  What WAS strange however was that my Signo White Gel Pen didn't do as well on this cardstock? I'm going to chalk it up to exhausted operator though.

Of course I had to bling her out with my Clear Sparkle Gel Pen!  I also had a couple of horses stamped off on the Georgia Pacific cardstock so decided to color them with Copics also.

Not sure what I think in regards to my attempt at a painted horse?  {smiles}  I think I was getting pooped! LOL!

I had colored the horses with my colored pencils prior ...it has been over 3+ years since I picked up my pencils and needed to do that again.

This was the only image that has actually been made into a card.  It is off to a military base so I wanted to keep embellishments as minimal as possible!

So tomorrow I'll be back at mom's house for Easter dinner ... guess who's going to be stamping off more images!  {smiles}
