RV Adventures
You know THIS GIRL LOVES swapping and I promised I would share the
swaps that I made and took to Convention. By the way ... if you are one
of my customers, hostess clubbers or team members ... I mailed you one
of these this past week! So watch your mailbox!
To me Convention = Christmas!
Forget Christmas cards ... I make Convention Cards! {smiles}
The card above includes the theme of Convention which was 'The Artistic Adventure'. I colored these cards in ALL kinds of different colors, with my Copics, and some of them I even used my clear gel sparkle pen with for some added bling.
NOTE: I typed 'The Artistic Adventure' up in my Word and printed it out on cardstock.
Inspiration came from Pinterest ... of course! I found some cards and CASE'd them!

Hope Blooms
The image block is popped up with our thinner foam tape do give it some dimension.
I used Copics to color the image.

Balloon Thanks
This image I also colored in with several different shades of Copics. I
think the final card would have looked better had I popped up the
balloon layer with some foam ... just to give it a bit more dimension.
I also added Liquid Glass and some bling ... YUM!

Be still my heart ... this stamp set is NOT in the NEW Inspiration Book! Get it while you can!
Owl
Can you tell that my overall theme was Clean and Simple? {smiles}
I did several variations of owls colored with my Copics. I also used the thinner foam tape to pop the branch layer up and then the thicker pop dots on the owls. This gave me even more depth on the final card.

NOTE: Do you see the blue-ish circle behind the owl? I used our sponge
and some blue chalk to create a sky effect in the background.

Amazing Butterfly Embossed
This card really went FAST! Along with the balloon, and the RV's and Owls ...
Above is what I swapped at Convention. The image is embossed in white and colored in with Prismacolor Pencils and then I used Odorless Mineral Spirits for a smooth blend. I will be doing a technique tutorial for this and will share soon!

I purchased my ribbon/jute at WalMart and this was my first attempt.
BLACH! You can see that I ended up cutting it in half ... which worked
AWESOME!
A few weeks before Convention I had a TAC Angel Reunion and made the
card above for this swap. Stampers usually just do card fronts! I was
FLOORED at the CTMH Convention that they do ENTIRE, FULL SIZE cards and
many include envies even! WOWzers!
Amazing Butterfly
This image is stamped in black with no white wash under it ... tutorial coming! {smiles}
And this is that burlap/jute ribbon I found at WalMart. I think it was
less than $5.95 for the roll ... maybe even $4.95??? I don't
remember. I still have a TON left and I easily made over 100 variations
of the card I used it on! Not bad at all! The wire edge also worked
great as the guideline for my adhesive.
Simple Pleasures
For this card I used 3 of the images in the set ... the one above, the
little boy kicking the football and the little girl jump roping. SUPER EASY!
