Jubilee Mini Album

If you've been following my blog you know that I've been working with the Jubilee Workshop on the Go this month.  The last project I showed you with this collection was this You Are My Sunshine Canvas:
So far, from this one collection, I can make an endless number of cards with the AWESOME stamp set included, I've made this canvas and I've made this mini album.  Since I've shown  you Jubilee a bit more distressed with the canvas I wanted to show you a cleaner and simpler version of the line with this mini.
For this mini I used our Dimensional Elements and my Cricut.  Our Cricut cartridge coordinates perfectly with these shapes.  I just had to size my image and cut ... SUPER easy!  I also chose to cut my mats on my Cricut ... circles and squares.  I did these both in Kraft and in Colonial White ... for a bit of variety.  I also chose to cut some extra pieces of cardstock to sandwich in between those on my Dimensional Elements ... just for more variety.
Notice that I sanded the edges of the patterned paper to give it a worn look.  On the pages that I adhered to the Dimensional Elements this was a huge benefit since these are white.  It made a very nice transition and left no hard edges.

TIP:  Notice the piece of paper on the right ... that is from my Ariana Collection.  I LOVE that it coordinates perfectly with papers in other collections as well as its own.
The theme of this mini was SIMPLE ... but I still wanted to add more interest so I used our Journaling Pen to do just that ... SUPER easy!
This mini has LOTS of papers that you can fill up with photos and journaling.  You can also embellish even more if you'd like ... even after creating yet another project to feature with this collection ... I still have product that I can embellish with!  It's amazing how far the Workshop on the Go and the CardMaking Kits from CTMH stretch ... so much bang for your buck ... and that's my language!

Dream Convention Card

So this is one of the cards I received at Convention and I'd love to tell you who created it ... but I don't know!  CTMH Convention Swaps are VERY different than any swap I've ever participated in!  How you ask?  There are several differences:

  • Card swaps are full cards and NOT card front only's.
  • Most swap cards INCLUDE envelopes.
  • Most swap cards have NO NAME on them ... so you can actually send the card to someone.
  • Most featured LOTS of embellies ... no stinginess whatsoever.
  • Swappers go for quality over quantity.
  • The insides of most cards are just as important as the fronts and these are complete also.
  • VARIETY.  CTMH swappers are more diverse and broad than any other company cardmakers I've ever seen.  They are stampers, Cricut cardmakers, scrapper cardmakers and so much more.  TONS of variety!

Yes ... I'll be sharing more Convention eye candy ... with pleasure!

I have just one more project to share with you that features the Jubilee Workshop on the Go that I've been creating with and that will be this week!  YEAH!  I'm sad though ... this collection is FABULOUS to work with ... I definitely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a WONDERFUL weekend!
