This image almost hit the trash pile also ... but I convinced myself that less is more {today, anyway}.  I'm glad I stuck with it and I like how it turned out.  I think the watercolor paper matting is a perfect complement to the image.


It's really trying me to be simplistic with my coloring ... but it's a good thing.  And I LOVE these images!  I do use a lot of 'non-current' images and seek them out.  It seems like so many of the companies are coming out with, what I've termed 'disposable sets'.  I remember the days you'd look thru a catty and had to have EVERYTHING in it.  It's just not so today ... so I really treasure getting my hands on images that are so NOT disposable!  I digress. 

And with that ... I'll call it a wrap!
