#235 Embossed Tri-Panel Cards with Imagine
Tuesday, February 07, 2017You can create 3 Tri-Panel Cards from each sheet. You will be happily surprised with the thickness of these overlays ... there is NO flimsy whatsoever! All About the Gold Fundamentals from CTMH. And while you're at CTMH ... check out the CLEARANCE! OH MY! The Red Framed MAGNETIC Chalkboards ... LOVE!
TIP: Use your scoring board and bone folder when using these overlays! It scores quite nicely!
Our February Theme is Heart of Gold, at Imagine, and the color of the month is ROSE ... so I really wanted to incorporate both of these great challenges into one card. This card fold is perfect for displaying your artwork! Check out the Imagine Blog for a quick and easy Valentine's Day Card and list of supplies.
I thought it would be fun to create some 'mini' versions of this card ... like the little fox above ... LOVE these!
Here's how it looks from the top:
This foxy little card is GORGEOUS with his Delicata Golden Glitz highlights ... check out how easy it is to add texture and dimension ...
First, I cut out images from the pattern paper I was using. Next, I used Golden Glitz with a sponge dauber around the edges of the image to soften and bring in some shimmer.
Use your heat tool to 'puff up' the Amplify! Let it cool and then ...
Use your sponge dauber to color the centers of the flowers Golden Glitz ... LOVE! And SO easy!
This next card would be great not only for Valentine's Day ... but ... for seating arrangements at the table ... who wouldn't want one of these little darlings personalized with their name?!
How darling is this little chickie?!
Perfect for Valentine's Day ... and it would be so easy to personalize with a name! This design is so fast and versatile ... you'll find yourself making this card for every occasion!
This little chickie shows how great this design is for everyday projects. To add more interest ... I spritzed the card base with irRESISTible Wedding Dress ... I LOVE this product! And then ... embellish as normal. My kind of project!
Small Card: 3" x 6". Score at 1 1/4", 2", 4" and 4 3/4".
Large Card: 4" x 10 1/2". Score at 2 3/4", 4", 6 1/2" and 7 3/4".
I hope you've been inspired today ... remember to swing by the Imagine Blog and bookmark the large card with measurements so it's handy when you need it.
xoxo,
Mischelle
I used Some Kinda Wonderful and it's coordinating Thin Cuts to create these cards.
