#289 How to Make A Masterboard | Imagine Crafts
Saturday, May 20, 2017This month's theme at Imagine is the letter 'M'. I decided to go with a 'masterboard' ... one of my favorite ways to create. A masterboard is made with a full sized sheet of paper and then cut down to make smaller projects. In this case ... cards.
See my full tutorial on How to Make A Masterboard on Imagine's Blog!
I used a Lawn Fawn die to create the hello sentiment. To easily create depth die cut several of the same sentiment and layer them together with On Point Glue. Add to your card and you've got dimension and depth.
The surface of my 'hello' is sealed. You can use gel medium or Modpodge for this step. On Point Glue works also ~ leaving you with a shiny finish. StaZon Glaze also works well for a glassy effect.
It's wonderfully therapeutic just to play with your supplies, paints, and markers.
I LOVE journaling so it was only natural to create a layout for my journal. I again used an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock and eventually cut it half.
