#344 Love the Lord Journal Layout featuring Adorabelle
Monday, January 28, 2019
This was my first time playing with Vera Lane Studio's Adorabelle ... I am LOVING these partially colored images!
It's pretty nice to have 5 dresses already collaged and ready to print. That left me the head and legs ... super easy! I also have the option of a black and white image.
It had been quite a while since I had played in one of my journals ... and with my beloved Distress Oxide inks! These inks are SO MUCH FUN to design with ... my absolute favorite! Of course, I LOVE them with my Vera Lane Studio images! Funky, fun ... always a touch of whimsy ... and sometimes a little bit of crazy.
So, for this layout, I just wanted to document one of my favorite verses ... Mark 12:30. This is my #1. I ADORE the color palette in this Adorabelle! Yellows, turquoise greens, yellow greens ... all my favs ... perfect for my #1 verse.
I also think it's SUPER important to include your own handwriting in your layouts ... at least every now and then ... so this was a moment to do that. Go figure ... my #1 verse in my own font! {smiles!}
I couldn't help myself ... I HAD to add a washi tape heart to my Adorabelle ... and there you have it ... so.much.fun! Short and sweet! Documented in my Faith Journal.
God bless,
Mischelle
